This 2021 Ford GT '66 Heritage Edition shows 979 km (approximately 608 miles) from new. Finished in Frozen White with a black roof and hood, red accent striping, and a white "98" racing roundel, the Heritage livery pays tribute to Ford's GT40 program and the marque's overall Le Mans history, including the 1966 1-2-3 finish the graphics package commemorates. The cabin retains a configurable digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment display, and automatic climate control, keeping the GT usable on the road despite its competition-inspired layout. Exposed carbon-fiber trim is visible on the center console and door sills.
The butterfly doors are actuated by a compact hydraulic mechanism at the hinge point, visible in the accompanying photo, and the same engineering approach carries through to the car's multi-function steering wheel, which houses paddle shifters for the dual-clutch transaxle ahead of a configurable digital instrument panel. Variable ride height, a front-axle lift system for clearing driveway aprons and speed bumps, selectable driving modes, and launch control are standard features of the Ford GT platform.
The 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 was factory-rated at 660 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque for the 2021 model year. Power is sent through a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle to the rear wheels, and the car rides on an adjustable pushrod suspension developed alongside the model's track-focused aerodynamic package, including the active rear wing and the functional rear diffuser shown here, which manages airflow exiting from beneath the car at speed.
With under 1,000 km recorded, this GT presents as essentially new and should appeal to collectors seeking a well-preserved example of Ford's modern halo car. The low odometer reading, combined with the Heritage Edition's limited production run and motorsport-inspired livery, positions this example as a strong candidate for collectors prioritizing both condition and provenance.
