At one point things felt a bit softer with these RSs, selling at "just" +100k over MSRP. As of late things have picked up again. As evidenced here. These and the 991 2RSs, maybe cause they might be that last beasts of an era...

I've driven faster cars than the 992 3RS, but never a better cornering car, or a more engaging "automatic" driver experience. The PDK tuning in the RS is on such a different level that you'll never wish you were in a 6MT because it takes every ounce of your concentration doing 90+ in 45 mph corners that clutching to shift would just upset the balance and ruin the experience. These cars are all about driving at the limit and that's when they are truly unlocked to their full potential. If you're just planning to drive to cars and coffee save your money.
Made the decision to sell mine and return to a 6MT GT3 Touring, which is a better "all-around" experience, but is nowhere near as hair-raising as the RS was. The perfect garage definitely includes one of each and I wish I would have just bit the bullet and kept the RS for special occasions because the ship has sailed on owning one of these in the 300s again. GLWA!

Aug 31, 2026 · 04:00
Adding my two cents. I drove one of these on the track for the Porsche experience back to back with a Turbo S. Nothing is the same between those two cars. The engine is 100% one of the best, adrenal inducing sounds. Feeling the car scream and build up power in the revs up to 9k, if the 3RS I was driving had the same engine as the turbo S the experience while fun just gets dialed down for sure, it’s just liked when they removed manual. Let’s be honest here there’s tons of turbo cars faster these days, but that doesn’t stop us from adoring these last of an era cars. I hope I can get a cayman gts 4.0 before those rocket to the moon as well.

Ice Gray Metallic is such a wonderful color, while not being the rarest (2/5 paint cans on Rennbow) it sure is stunning! Beautifully highlighting the aggressive aero of the GT3 RS Weissach, in short, amazing car and best of luck!

The beautiful thing about the 911 is there exists one for nearly every taste. I love my 992.1 C2S manual. I bought it for driving on the road, not racing. We have very decently maintained roads where I live and the ride quality with the PASM on is just about as firm as I’d really ever want. “This car isn’t fast enough” is a phrase I have yet to utter. If I wanted to race with any regularity I would definitely consider a GT car. If I wanted something more exclusive and was willing to tolerate a stiffer ride with less creature comforts, I would also consider a GT car. If all you’re looking for is a 911 to take out on the weekend, and you don’t own a $100 bill printing press, you can’t beat a Carrera T/S/GTS with the manual transmission. That being said, if you want the ultimate track beast 911, Porsche is more than happy to meet your needs.
Aug 30, 2026 · 15:09
While I enjoy the exhaust tones that come from a naturally aspirated, ultimately, this is an amazing car, no matter what the appreciation curve looks like. I’ve yet to meet anyone that said “boy, I really wish I didn’t buy a GT3 RS”. :) GLWTA!

Aug 28, 2026 · 23:26
strong bids for a tracked car regardless of racing or follow the leader driving em to the limit , that's what they are made for! 2027 will be another gem for sure and faster. Yes Porsche marketing makes gt cars hold values but that doesn't make old expensive ones better for today's drivers needs and expectations. The drumroll and enthusiasm builds up a nice bubble for Porsche. Great illusion.
Aug 28, 2026 · 20:40
@mstomachin your saying n/a porsches and turbos sound the same? Not sure what your talking about the n/a gt3 engines are probably one of the best sounding engines which also happens to rev to 9k rpms
Aug 28, 2026 · 19:31
Reading the tea leaves isn't that difficult, technology has eroded the drawbacks of turbos. The sound differential between NA and turbo is insignificant when talking porsche. Ferrari is a different story, the car is branded by its sonic signature. I'll take the extra 100 ponies. ("just sayin: IMO.)
Aug 28, 2026 · 19:12
@japans2k your right that's why the 4.0 997 rs costs what it does and 993 turbo s costs what it does and so on
Porsche is pretty simple anything thats discontinued goes up in price
Aug 28, 2026 · 19:08
Too many cheerleaders that want their car value to go up but 992.2 will be the one to own and all the owner will trade them in for upgrade when new ones are out like the newest cell phones by Apple every year

Dundon components should pass smog in CA. I have a full Dundon system on a 2025 GT3RS, headers, cats, crack pipe and passed Smog in CA with zero issue. Dundon makes many variations of their exhaust systems, modular in that you don't have to have headers to use mufflers etc. Would be helpful @seller if you informed potential buyers of the exact system you have (excuse ignorance if you have already done that). Thanks and good luck to both the seller and bidders.
