Presentation

This 2003 Ferrari 360 Spider has 20k miles and has spent most of its time registered in Nevada, California, and Arizona. A blue vinyl wrap covers the gray-finished body, and power is from a 3.6-liter V8 paired with a six-speed F1 sequential transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 18″ two-piece BBS alloy wheels, a Nero convertible soft top, aftermarket fender shields, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, automatic climate control, and a CD stereo. Purchased by the seller in March 2026, this 360 Spider is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-designed aluminum body is finished in gray and currently wears a vinyl wrap. Exterior features include xenon headlights, aftermarket fender shields, and quad exhaust outlets exiting through the rear fascia. The soft top assembly is said to have been refurbished earlier this year.

The 18″ two-piece BBS alloy wheels are mounted with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires. Stopping power is from silver-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors at each corner. The brake pads were replaced earlier this year, per the seller.

The cockpit features power-adjustable Daytona-style seats upholstered in black leather with gray accents. Amenities include automatic climate control, a CD stereo, power windows, and aluminum pedals.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a digital fuel level readout and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. Paddle shifters for the F1 gearbox are mounted behind the steering wheel. The digital odometer indicates 20k miles, approximately 350 of which were added under current ownership.

The mid-mounted 3.6-liter Tipo F131 V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication, dual overhead camshafts, and five valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 400 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. According to the seller, the timing belt was replaced in 2021 at 14k miles, and work carried out earlier this year included replacing the battery and rebuilding the water pump. An oil change was carried out about 200 miles ago.

I've just completed $15,000 worth of maintenance on this car, including oil change, rear brake pads, new battery, water pump rebuild, soft-top rebuild (ordered the kit from Italy), and of course the exterior work (ppf removal and wrap primarily). There is really nothing to do service-wise until your next oil change.

Here’s my investment thesis on the 360, the LAST of the naturally aspirated Spiders along with the 430 and 458 models: The 430 and 458 are now selling ABOVE the original sticker price. The 360 needs to catch up imo. Said another way, the value of these cars is going UP. Not a bad place to park money in this environment, while you also have some fun on Sundays :) I'm rolling into a 458 Italia and using the proceeds from this sale to fund the purchase.

If I were keeping the car myself, I would ALSO wrap the silver center interior console shown here, would really accent the blue exterior! Again, I will include a roll of xtra vinyl w the purchase. One may also choose to wrap the door panels -I did not.

The clutch measured out as 39% remaining, implying another 10000-15000 miles of life. For me that’s 10 years, although some people use these as daily drivers. Not me. However, I’ve heard that clutch life is not linear, FWIW.
I will see if I have that receipt and post it if so. Thanks for all the questions!

As I can observe, this appears to be the spec:
Color: Grigio Titanio
Interior: Blu Scuro
Factory Equipment:
- 18" Modular Wheels
- Silver Calipers
- Rear Challenge Grill
- Electric Seats
- Daytona Seats with grey inserts
- Contrast stitching in grey
- Leather rear shelf and door mouldings
- CD Changer
- Hi-Fi Sound
- Tubi Exhaust (not mentioned, but most people prefer this)
One thing I can't tell is whether the shields are factory or not. The listing says aftermarket, and they may very-well be, but it looks like there's possibly a bevel around them in the garage photo you just posted. Might be a + if factory shields.

I mentioned this earlier but probably worth repeating, the Silver paint was covered with 3M plastic tape (pfm) that began to crack and turn yellow. When I removed it (25 hours of labor and seized hands), the paint underneath was like virgin, altho a few raisin-sized chips of paint broke off and would need to be touched up. NONE of the spots is in a bad spot per se ie not staring you in the face, For Example: side mirror, the fiberglass panel behind the head-rest
Oct 29, 2026 · 12:26
I can't find the pictures of the paint under the wrap (10/27 11:34est response) in the gallery or comments, can you point me to them or post again? Also, did you happen to get a clutch reading during your service (or have one from the stack of records [pic 79])? Please share the most recent receipt. Thank you, really appreciate how responsive you've been

Full belt service completed at 14,500 miles.
I would personally do the next belt service within 4 years or 25000 miles whichever comes first.
Thanks for the comments.
Oct 29, 2026 · 00:16
@kbachman1, notwithstanding your source of advice I would just say i’m speaking from experience having owned 26 Ferrari’s over the past 40+ years. A failed belt today is a major five figure problem. Why defer that risk? I’m just suggesting that potential bidders should factor that in. On a personal note I owned a GrigioTitanio car from new and loved the color. The modular wheels are the most compelling option on this Ferrari. Interested parties should bid accordingly.

On the tires: the timeline below explains the low mileage and also the low wear on the tires. I have posted several closeup pics of the tread and sidewalls for your review, and the tires would appear to be brand new. Garage-kept the entire time and low mileage on the tread will do that.
kbachman1 (The Seller)
Oct 28, 2026 · 22:12
Timeline: Following the belt service in 2020, the owner at the time (the Napa/ San Fran owner) drove the vehicle for another year or so, and then sold it to the Arizona collector I mentioned, who added only 1,000 miles in the 5 years that he owned it (correction from when I stated 500 earlier). Because this car was SO incredibly underutilized I opted to rebuild the water pump as a precaution.
kbachman1 (The Seller)
Oct 28, 2026 · 21:58
@Fuelieguy
Guided by European Highline of Scottsdale, I opted to do water pump but NOT the belt, since BOTH were done late in this 360s life (14,500 miles now at 19,900) The thought process was- sometimes with a car that’s not utilized much the water pump seals can become dry-rotten and cracked to the point where you get oil in the coolant and coolant in the oil. To avoid this risk, I opted to do the water pump. The timing belt replacement is more a function of miles driven, in our opinion. As I alluded to below, I would personally do the next belt service within 4 years or 25000 miles whichever comes first.
Oct 28, 2026 · 20:26
Any Ferrari owner who’s ever experienced a broken timing belt can attest to just how unpleasant an experience that is. A wise buyer would have the transporter take this car immediately and directly to a reputable shop and complete a full major service including a new set of tires before going on the road with it. Ask me how I know.

Reposting: History of the car: This Ferrari 360 Spider spent much of its life registered in Sanoma County, CA – wine country, owned by a tech executive who works in San Francisco and serviced the car at Ferrari of San Francisco. The car was purchased and trailered to Cave Creek AZ where it was minimally used (and actually never even washed. ever) This owner is a collector, owns 47 cars, started the car every week and left a low-volt battery charger on, but only drove the car 350 miles in the 5 years that he owned it. A bit of a barn find for me.. I acquired the car from this collector via trade in March, 2026 and restored it.

@kbachman1
Didn’t miss a thing , doesn’t matter if they were driven on or new old stock from a dealer , nobody drives Ferrari , or any sports cars with 9 year old tires , and certainly don’t drive with old belts without fear a major engine catastrophe. The car needs service , simple fact of exotic ownership.
Exotics and deferred maintenance is a formula for a very expensive lesson.

I was asked how I arrived at the color Sky Blue? The interior of this 360 certainly feels like a black interior, although if you zoom in the bucket seats are actually dark blue, so that certainly limits your color choices. I also wanted to choose a color that POPS with the yellow Ferrari badges and also one that turns heads, which it most certainly does.
High Gloss Sky Blue.

In Ferrari-speak, "major service" on a 360 = belt/tensioner replacement (at least), and while the factory recommends 3-year intervals (regardless of mileage), the consensus is every 5 years.
kbachman1 (The Seller)
Oct 27, 2026 · 15:01
@enzo4re
6 years and 6000 miles is not an issue for the belt
And I DID do a major service - water pump
Oct 27, 2026 · 14:16
No wrap adds value to a Ferrari- at least not to 99.9% of Ferrari enthusiasts. In fact, in view of the uncertain condition of what lies beneath it, not to mention what damage could occur when it's removed, it's a liability.
And this one is LONG overdue for a belt/tensioner service- no knowledgeable 360 owner goes more than 5 years between major services, as time- not just mileage- is a big factor. Today's modern belts may last longer than those from a bygone era, but tensioners are as big an issue- and belts do tend to take a set against tensioners when left stationary.

I was looking for clarity on the thought process - so why they said the water pump would need to be done again after doing it with you and why they didnt complete the belt service while already in there. Can't tell by the carfax, but assuming its been 8-10 years since the belts were done. Time is also a factor on the belt service. Do you still have the receipt?

Interesting one of the most beautiful cars ever in a color wrap that is unbelievably popular today and looks great of course on this 360. Not a fan of wraps, but this color on this car is really nice.
Oct 26, 2026 · 21:11
I'm confused on the water pump - so they rebuilt the water pump, but didn't do the belts while in there, but the service center recommends to rebuild the water pump when one does the belt service later? Any chance you can share the receipt from European Highline? Apologies if I missed it
Oct 26, 2026 · 21:04

You can remove the wrap if you buy it, sure. The car was COVERED with pfm plastic tape when I acquired it, and was likely covered for 20+ years - became discolored and started cracking. When I removed the tape, the glossy silver paint underneath is practically virgin paint having been covered over the decades. However, a few small (raisin-sized) chips of paint came off during the removal process you would need minor touch-up paint.

Just did the oil change, battery, brake pads and water pump. Wont need any service for 2 years (oil change), assuming that you only drive 1000 miles a year or so like I do. My mechanic (European Highline Scottsdale) and I decided to wait on the belt service (which also entails rebuilding the water pump), although I would personally plan on doing the belt service within a few years. I would NOT wait another 14k miles from when the belt was last replaced (at 14k miles). I would personally budget for belt service in year 3 or 4, but I’m a perfectionist w my cars. I hope that’s helpful.
