9k-Mile 2016 Ferrari California T

United States of America Lot # V-000200 Ended 73 Bids & Comments
Description Bids & Comments

Presentation

Introduced for the 2015 model year, the California T represented a significant evolution of Ferrari’s front-engine grand touring convertible, introducing a twin-turbocharged V8 along with revised Pininfarina-designed bodywork, improved performance, and an updated chassis while retaining the versatility of a retractable hardtop and 2+2 seating configuration. This 2016 example is finished in Bianco Avus over a black leather interior with contrasting red stitching and piping. It remained with its original owner from new and spent the majority of its life in Palm Beach, Florida, where it was regularly serviced by Ferrari of Palm Beach. Carrying an original MSRP of $257,443, it was factory-optioned with the Carbon Fiber Driver Zone with LEDs, carbon-fiber dashboard inserts, 20” forged painted wheels, Backbone-style front and rear seats, ventilated full-electric seats, a leather-trimmed lower dashboard, a white tachometer, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, red brake calipers, and additional personalized appointments. This one-owner California T is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer in New York with approximately 9k miles showing on the odometer.

This example is finished in Bianco Avus and features xenon headlights, LED taillights, a power-retractable hardtop, front fender vents, quad exhaust outlets, optional Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, red-painted brake calipers, and 20” forged painted alloy wheels. The rear tires were replaced in 2022 and carry 2020 date codes, while the original front tires are recommended for replacement due to age. The seller reports tread depths of 6/32” on three tires and 5/32” on the right-front tire. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report, and the seller states that the body remains free of scratches, dents, or dings with no known paintwork.

The cabin is upholstered in black leather accented by optional red contrast stitching and piping, along with Cavallino emblems embroidered on the headrests. Factory options include Backbone-style front and rear seats, ventilated full-electric front seats, a leather-trimmed lower dashboard, carbon-fiber dashboard inserts, aluminum driver and passenger footrests, and a white tachometer. The optional Carbon Fiber Driver Zone adds carbon-fiber trim to the steering wheel along with integrated LED shift lights. Additional amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, a central infotainment display, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, power accessories, and Ferrari’s steering-wheel-mounted Manettino drive-mode selector. The seller describes the interior as being in excellent overall condition, and additional photos are provided in the gallery. Several climate-control buttons exhibit the sticky surface deterioration commonly associated with Ferrari interior switchgear, though they are said to remain fully functional.

The California T is powered by Ferrari’s F154-series twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8, which produces 553 HP and 557 lb-ft of torque and sends power to the rear wheels through a 7-speed F1 dual-clutch transaxle. Compared with the naturally aspirated California it replaced, the California T also incorporated revised suspension tuning and Ferrari’s F1-Trac traction-control system, along with carbon-ceramic brakes as standard equipment. The car benefits from regular servicing at Ferrari of Palm Beach, with its maintenance history documented on the CARFAX report.

This sale will include a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “I have bought and sold about a dozen Ferrari Californias over the years. I can honestly say this one takes the cake and turns heads anywhere I go. The white on black and red is as sharp as it gets and a very rare find. This window sticker is very heavy, and the money put into the build was spent very properly. Lots of carbon, and you can't ever have too much carbon in my opinion when it comes to exotic sport cars. I've driven the car myself a bunch of times, and it's just a dream. I believe these last of the Pininfarina design builds have much appreciation to come over time and are one of the last Ferrari sleepers.”

@Autotrend My apologies. As of now; the battery tender and car cover will not be included. The owner believes he has them in his home in Palm Beach but he won't be there for a couple of months. I am more than glad to have these items shipped if I am able to retrieve but cannot make promises.
Sep 1, 2026 · 15:52
@rkaufman11021 can you be be more specific on, not at the moment . does that mean those 2 items will be included, or you do not have them with the sale of the car.

@mbarturbo Pictures 61-65 with magnified feature would reflect condition of dash and buttons. There is no dash shrinkage. Ferrari of West Palm Beach actually recovered the dash leather so that was fully rectified and done proper. The only buttons they are a little sticky are Climate Control Buttons. I am being told with alcohol and a qtip this would help the issue but I haven't attempted. Thanks

Any chance you can post some close ups of the AC controls and other buttons/areas that typically get sticky? Also a couple of the dash. Any evidence of shrinking or rippling in the common areas? Thanks

@Autotrend yes. I had it on OVE for a few days but never brought to live auction. I decided P Car market would be a great avenue to expose it to the retail public and potentially dealers. Best of luck!

Good luck to all bidders on this awesome example of what a real sweet Ferrari Caifornia T should look and drive. This car has only had 1 owner and has been well preserved and serviced regularly. I've owned many Ferrari's and have sold many Ferrari's and I can say this one is at the top of my list as far as California's go. A true blast to drive and real sweet touring convertible that offers everything you can want for a fraction what most Ferrari's cost on the pre owned market. I can assure complete satisfaction to the next lucky owner of this car! Plz feel feel with any questions or additional info you may have. I will do my best to answer as accurately and thoroughly as possible.
